Jin campaigns against the Song Dynasty → Jin–Song Wars – Consistency with other articles such as Greco-Persian Wars and Ottoman-Venetian Wars. Also, the Song revanchism section shows that the Song at least started one campaign/war of their own against the Jin. Vctrbarbieri (talk) 18:00, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

- Support. Oops, I'd forgotten about this one. Yes, the argument makes sense. When the article was first named, there was almost no info on the Song counteroffensives, but now there are full-fledged sections on Song initiatives. No need to latch on to the old title when the new one is better. Madalibi (talk) 04:28, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Do we have sources for these maps:
- File:Song Jin Wars.jpg
- File:1125-1126 war.png
- File:1126-1130 war.png
- File:Conquest of Jin.png (3 references are cited but I'm afraid they're incomplete)
I'm surprised the Chinese Wikipedia doesn't use these maps btw. a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 17:35, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

Jin–Song Wars → Jin–Song wars – It is obvious from the 2014 RM discussion above that this is a made-up-on-Wikipedia descriptive title, not a proper name. Books with lowercase wars are easy to find. Dicklyon (talk) 03:11, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
